Hermes Sloane Street

Unusual projects:  Hermes - Sloane Street, London

Martin Kaye interiors was recently very fortunate to be selected to work our magic for the new Hermes flagship store in Sloane street  London.

This project was very challenging as the client requested us to think outside the box.  We worked along side a company in France to produce the curtain out of  plated gold mesh which created many problem that had to be overcome.  Such as a system design to hang such curtains as well as tackling the weight factor in regards to the tracks we supplied .

We opted for Silent Gliss motorized tracks as we calculated the weight of the curtains and knowing that this had to be controlled by lutron we felt that they provided the best solution.  Another interesting feature was the satellite changing room where we had to custom bend a motorised track into a ceiling recess the curtains then appear from behind the mirror to encapsulate the Hermes customers creating wow factor.

The final brief was an automated roller blind with the Hermes logo printed on it . As a preferred supplier of Creation Baumann blinds we were able to  source one of their fabrics which we had digitally printed
